Family Intervention Services, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization providing crisis intervention, therapeutic counseling, case management, education and support to New Jersey individuals. Each year FIS' professional and support staff extend a helping hand to over 3600 children and families, as well as providing training and technical assistance to human services professionals and organizations throughout New Jersey. FIS believes that healthy families build strong communities and that strong communities protect and nurture children.
Our family-centered and family-driven programs work to build and sustain healthy, productive and long-term family relationships by providing the support families need to be independent and self-sufficient. Over the years, FIS has had a positive impact on the lives of tens of thousands of children and families throughout the state.
