Partnership for Family Success Training and Technical Assistance Center

Family Intervention Services, in partnership with Parents Anonymous of New Jersey, the New Jersey Alliance of Family Support Organizations and the Statewide Parent Advocacy Network, has been funded by the State of New Jersey and The Nicholson Foundation to provide Training and Technical Assistance to the statewide network of Family Success Centers. The Partnership for Family Success Training and Technical Assistance Center offers a full-range of training and technical assistance services to the Family Success Centers, their staff and parents.

The Partnership provides assistance in many areas, including but not limited to:

• Family partnership
• Parent leadership development/shared leadership
• Strengths-based practice
• Cultural reciprocity
• Quality assurance and performance improvement
• Outcomes collection and reporting
• Documentation
• Evidence-based practice(s) identification and development
• Team building and collaboration
• Community partnership development
• Staff development
• Skill building for staff
• Train the Trainer courses for FSC staff
• Resource identification and management
• Information management

The Partnership provides support through several vehicles, including but not limited to:

• Workshops and training events
• Onsite technical assistance
• Offsite technical assistance (via telephone, e-mail and internet)
• Peer-to-peer information exchange and mentoring
• Networking/information sharing
• Conferences
• Support to implement appropriate quality improvement approaches and practices
