Friend of FIS Wins Art Contest

Vance Viggiano and his family are friends of FIS with some wonderful news they would like to share. Vance, age 15, has entered a Doodle 4 Google art contest, “If I Could Do Anything, I Would…”. He was selected as a regional finalist and is representing the tristate area. With the help of all our supporters who voted, Vance’s entry, “The Love of Art” won the contest for his age group!

Vance and his work were featured on the front page of the Daily Record on June 14, and the story can be found here: http://www.dailyrecord.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/201006140600/COMMUNITIES/100611041

We are all very proud of Vance and know how impressed you will be when you view his work.

FIS Food Donations

The National Association of Letter Carriers, "Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive" was a great success! Over one ton of food was collected and distributed to FIS offices for families in need. Thanks to the generosity of Denville residents who left their donated items to be collected by their mail carrier on their Saturday routes, countless families will now have the staples they so desperately need.

Book of Dreams
Jeanne M. Warnock announced today that the new, 2010 edition of FIS Book of Dreams is now available on the agency's website. Visitors can view the dreams and wishes of FIS kids and make a donation on-line to support the "Dream Fund." "This year, we have an ambitious goal of raising $40 thousand to support the hopes and dreams of children. " said Warnock.
