Khizar A. Sheikh, Esq- Board Chair
Khizar Sheikh is the currently the Privacy Officer & Counsel at ADP. Khizar has been an instrumental voice in the world of corporate law, focusing his efforts on issues of data privacy and technology. For the past 10+ years, he has worked diligently to serve the families of NJ through his involvement at FIS. Today, Mr. Sheikh serves as Chair of Board of Trustees for FIS.
Board Vice Chair
Maureen Braun-Scalera MSW, LCSW is currently a Program Manager at Rutgers School of Social Work Institute for Families, where she oversees child welfare and child support initiatives. For 23+ years, Maureen has taught Master of Social Work students and has presented numerous trainings throughout New Jersey and at various national conferences. Maureen is a former employee at FIS and is now proud to call herself the Board Vice Chair.
Brad E. Muniz
Brad E. Muniz,CPA is currently Partner in Charge of Accounting and Auditing at Sobel & Co. Brad has 29+ years of experience in the areas of financial reporting, tax compliance and planning for closely held businesses, SEC registrants, non-profit organizations, individuals, and strategic business planning. He has been a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs since 1991 and has served on various influential organizations throughout NJ. Brad has served as the Chair for the NJ CPA-PAC and the Vice-Chair of the NJSCPA Chapter Operations Committee. Additionally, he has served on the NJCPA Sports & Entertainment, Young CPAs, Personal Financial Planning, Accounting Educators & Students, and Government Relations committees. Today, Brad serves the families of NJ as a Treasurer and Board Member at FIS.
Giuseppe M. Fazari, Ph.D
Giuseppe M. Fazari is currently the Assistant Dean of Continuing Education and Professional Studies at Seton Hall University. Before returning to higher education administration, he served as a Court Executive for the New Jersey Judiciary for 12 years. Additionally, Dr. Fazari is a faculty member for the National Center for State Courts and has served as an international consultant for the Federal Judiciary and National Industrial Court of Nigeria with the firm of Ijoma & Associates Court Management Associates, Ltd. He holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Seton Hall University and is a Fellow of the Institute for Court Management. Today, he serves the families of NJ as a Board Member at FIS.
Ed Lorne is currently a Client Partner with Visionet Systems, Inc. With 20+ years in IT consulting experience, Ed has helped a variety of blue-chip organizations efficiently maximize their technology funds. Throughout his career, Ed has also been a valued contributor on non-profit boards and is very involved in his church. Today, Ed serves the families of NJ as a Board Member at FIS.
Ashesh Upadhyay is currently a Director for New York Life Insurance. With over 30+ years of experience in the mutual funds and life Insurance industry, Ashesh brings his business acumen to FIS with a focus in Oversight, Operations and Management. He is a member of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and is co-chair of the Veterans and Asian Network groups at the organization. He is passionate about volunteering and supporting organizations that help families and children strive for a better life.
Loretta R Muriel
Loretta Muriel has over 20 years of varied health care experience. In 2002, Loretta found her calling when she followed her educational tract and began working in Behavioral Health, specifically working with children. During her tenure as a Psychiatric Screener she worked to ensure quality services to the children of Union County and was appointed school behavioral health resource liaison to the Elizabeth, Linden and Rahway Boards of Education. Loretta has served on numerous committees to enhance the community’s
understanding and access to behavioral health. Her compassion to children and families coping with behavioral and mental health illness continues. Today, Loretta serves the families of NJ as a Board Member at FIS
Steven Vannoy is the currently the Vice President of Sales at Kyocera/Duplitron and one of the founders of the company. He has served in this position for the past 30 + years. He has been very instrumental in the growth of the company since its founding in 1986.
He currently oversees three office locations NYC, Fairfield and Jamesburg New Jersey.
Jeanne M. Warnock,
Jeanne has over 30 years of experience in the field of human services. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Her passion for enhancing the welfare of individuals, children and families has earned her a national reputation as a leader and advocate. With this passion and dedication, Jeanne has co-founded The Family Success Institute which promotes a shift in the thinking, funding and practice of government and human service systems to ensure that our children, families and communities have what they need to be successful.
