Family Intervention Services was founded in 1981 by President and Chief Executive Officer, Jeanne M. Warnock, LCSW, with the goal of stabilizing and strengthening families. She believed it was essential to prevent the unnecessary removal of children from their home, return them from out of home placement and assist in developing the tools and skills for self-determination and family success.
FIS first opened its doors with two staff serving five families in Morristown, NJ. Today it operates 25 programs with four offices across Northern New Jersey.
We are pleased to announce that Family Intervention Services, Inc. joined forces with Center For Family Services!
Effective Jan 1, 2020, FIS is a division of Center For Family Services, with Richard Stagliano serving as the President/CEO of the combined organization. Jeanne Warnock will remain with the organization, serving as his emeritus partner.
This partnership strengthens our effectiveness, builds our capacity, spreads best practices, and expands our reach in the New Jersey counties of Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, and Sussex.
